Day 1 ( Medellín )

Welcome to Medellin, the City of Eternal Spring. After picking you up at the airport, we will take you to the hotel where you will meet the other participants and the tour guide. There we will have an informative talk, then go to see the bikes and do the paperwork.

Day 2 (Medellin- Doradal) 240 Km

The adventure begins! We will leave Medellin, heading towards the town of Guatapé, where we will find the majestic Peñol Rock and its reservoir. Then we will continue our tour to Doradal, where we will spend our first night.

Day 3 (Doradal - Zipaquirá ) 233 Km

Leaving Doradal, we will see the entrance to the famous Hacienda Napoles, that once belonged to Pablo Escobar. Then we will follow the Magdalena river until reaching the main highway, Ruta del Sol (Road of the Sun), climbing the east Andes, until we reach Zipaquirá.

Day 4 ( Zipaquirá - Villa de Leyva ) 120 Km

In the morning, we will visit the beautiful salt cathedral of Zipaquirá and then we will cross the touristic area of Boyacá, to reach historic Villa de Leyva, a colonial town rich in history and with an beautiful central square.

Day 5 (Villa de Leyva - Barichara ) 186 Km

We will travel kilometers of wonderful landscapes to reach one of the most beautiful villages in Colombia, where we will spend our first day of rest.

Day 6 ( Rest Day in Barichara )

Barichara is one Colombia’s most beautiful towns. Its cobblestone streets, colonial architecture and exquisite cuisine make it the ideal place to have our first day of rest. You can also visit the Chicamocha National Park.

Day 7 (Barichara - Ocaña ) 335 Km

We leave Barichara behind, crossing the breath-taking Chicamocha National Park, to continue north to Ocaña, where we can visit the Estoraques National Park.

Day 8 (Ocaña - Mompox ) 241 Km

We will enter one of the warmest regions in Colombia and cross some of the Magdalena river’s marshes to reach the beautiful colonial town of Mompox, famous for its fine gold artwork.

Day 9 ( Mompox - Cartagena ) 350 Km

Leaving Mompox, we will cross the Magdalena river, traveling through cattle-farming and agricultural regions of the department or province of Bolivar, until we reach its capital, the city of Cartagena.

Day 10 ( Rest-Day in Cartagena )

We will enjoy the most important colonial city of Colombia, with its exquisite cuisine, walk along its fortress walls and bastions, or just spend a day at the beach, on the Caribbean Sea.

Day 11 (Cartagena – Montería ) 278Km

Leaving the beautiful city of Cartagena behind, we will ride through the savannahs of the provinces of Bolívar, Sucre and Córdoba, to reach the farming city of Montería.

Day 12 (Montería - Apartadó) 217 Km

Once again approaching the shores of the Caribbean Sea, we will enter the banana-growing area of Urabá, which we will travel across until we reach its main city, Apartadó.

Day 13 (Apartadó - Medellin) 311 Km

We will head south along the road known as “the road to the sea”, through rainforests with its native inhabitants, deep river canyons and mountains, until we arrive at the colonial town of Santa Fe de Antioquia for lunch in a historic colonial hotel. We will then ride for a few more kilometers to the city of Medellin, where we finish our adventure.
